The Giza plateau is ten minutes from many hotels and a different country from the coach park. A private morning starts at your lobby in Cairo or Giza, not at a meeting flag on the corniche. The driver knows which gate the antiquities police are using that week. The guide walks you in with tickets already in hand.

Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure read clearly when nobody is herding you toward a camel before you have seen the stones. We keep the first hour for the east face and the causeway, then the Sphinx and the valley temple if the wind is kind. Interior tickets for the Great Pyramid are a separate, limited entry. We say so before you pay, and we do not promise a slot that has not been issued.

Panorama point is worth twenty quiet minutes and a bad idea at noon in July. In winter the light stays useful until late morning. Either way the car is waiting, water is cold, and you are back for lunch in Zamalek, Garden City, or a hotel in Giza — your call, written on the confirmation.

This is the same rhythm as our Cairo and Giza programmes. If you want Saqqara in the afternoon, or the Grand Egyptian Museum instead of a second pyramid, say so on Plan my tour. The published days are on the tours list.
