Egyptiva Tours is a private travel company based in Egypt. We design, confirm, and operate tailor-made journeys — with a reservations team, licensed local Egyptologist guides, and private drivers. You are booking the company, not a freelance listing.
Are the tours private?
Yes. Every programme on this site is private. Your party is not merged with another group. The vehicle, tickets, and day belong to you.
How do I book?
Send dates, hotel or airport, and how many travellers via Plan my tour or WhatsApp. We reply the same day with a written programme, inclusions, and a deposit request. The date is held once the deposit is received.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to four weeks is comfortable for most private days. Peak seasons — October to April, Christmas, and Easter — book earlier, especially for GEM timed entry, Abu Simbel, and Nile cruise cabins.
Can you work around flight times and layovers?
Yes. Share arrival, departure, and terminal. We build a timed circuit that returns you with a safe buffer before check-in. Layover programmes are a core part of our work.
On the day
What is included?
A licensed local guide, private air-conditioned vehicle, driver, hotel or airport pickup and drop-off, bottled water, and the sites listed on your confirmation. Entrance tickets and meals are stated clearly on each tour — never as a surprise on the day.
Who will I travel with?
A licensed Egyptian Egyptologist guide and a private driver assigned by Egyptiva Tours. The same team stays with you from pickup to drop-off. WhatsApp to the reservations desk remains open.
What language is the guiding in?
English is our working language. We can arrange French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Arabic on request, subject to guide availability for your date.
Is this suitable for children, seniors, or guests with limited walking?
Yes. Tell us ages, stroller needs, or walking limits when you book. We shorten temple circuits, add shade and café stops, and avoid unnecessary stairs. Wheelchair-accessible days are planned in advance.
Can a woman travelling alone book a private tour?
Yes. Many of our guests are solo travellers. Pickup is from the hotel or airport, the vehicle is private, and the pace is yours. Female Egyptologist guides can be requested.
What should I bring?
Passport or ID for tickets, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable walking shoes, a light scarf for religious sites, and a little cash for optional extras. We handle tickets, water, and the day’s logistics.
Payment
How do I pay?
A deposit confirms the date. The balance is due before departure or at the start of the tour, as written on your confirmation. We accept bank transfer, Wise, and cash in USD or EGP when agreed. Card payment is available when the site gateway is enabled.
What is the cancellation policy?
Up to three days before the date we can usually reschedule or refund part of the deposit. Later cancellations may deduct prepaid tickets (GEM, tombs, Abu Simbel). Full terms are on the Payment page and on your confirmation.
Do you add shopping stops?
No. We do not run obligatory perfume, papyrus, or alabaster loops. If you want a specific workshop or gallery, say so and we add it as a planned visit — never as a hidden commission stop.
Planning
Can the itinerary be rewritten?
Always. Flight times, photography, a temple you have waited years for, or a site you would rather skip — we reorder the day. Plan my tour is built for that brief. Contact is for invoices and last-minute notes.
Do you arrange multi-day trips and Nile cruises?
Yes. Cairo and Giza, Luxor and Aswan, El Fayoum, Alexandria, the Red Sea, and Nile cruise days with private onshore guiding. We sequence hotels, trains or flights, and cruise cabins as one company plan.
Which destinations do you cover?
Cairo and Giza, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel, El Fayoum, Alexandria, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, and Dahab. If you are staying elsewhere in Egypt, write to us — we still design the day.
