Terms of service

These terms apply to every private tour, transfer, and itinerary sold by Egyptiva Tours, an Egyptian tour operator. Booking a programme, paying a deposit, or confirming a date means you accept them.

The operator

Egyptiva Tours designs and operates the experiences listed on this website. We assign licensed local Egyptologist guides and private drivers. We are the supplier of the service — not a reseller of another operator’s products.

The booking

A written confirmation and a deposit hold the date. Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, in USD. Inclusions and exclusions on the tour page and on your confirmation form the contract. Changes requested after confirmation are subject to availability and may change the price.

Guest responsibilities

Provide accurate names, dates, hotel or airport, and passport details when tickets require them. Guests must hold valid travel documents and insurance. Egyptiva is not liable for visa refusal, flight delay, or site closures ordered by authorities.

Conduct and safety

The guide may adapt the route for weather, closures, or safety. Dangerous or illegal behaviour ends the service without refund of unused hours.

Marketplace bookings

If you booked through Viator, GetYourGuide, or another platform, that platform’s checkout terms also apply. Where they conflict on payment or cancellation, the platform terms govern that booking; the operational details on our confirmation still apply on the day.
